A chakra is best defined as an energy center. All seven of your chakras should work in balance to positively impact your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. Each chakra is extremely important, and when one is even slightly off-balance, it can negatively affect your mind and body. However, it’s also important to note that it can be difficult to balance your chakras and will take time and patience, so please don’t be disheartened or worried if yours feel out of line. That being said, knowing each chakra's control point and purpose is beneficial in learning how to balance them and use them to your advantage.
